just realized
anyone who has read or reads my posts and then sees the one about comedy writing probably thinks I am on or was on some sort of crack or other hard drug. I just realized that this blog has no comedic anything about it. Well readers I promise in real life I am quite witty but I still have to master the art of putting it into my writing.

Making humor come alive on paper, when you haven't got tone of voice to clue the listener in, is one of the hardest things to do. Keep plugging at it if that is what you are aiming for!
ReplyDeleteI just found a story I wrote half a life time ago (not kidding) and to my delight, it still "works". So save what you write, for reflection and for historical purposes. (So that when you are an old lady like me, you will remember writing it and how you felt)
